Online Supervision

Online Supervision with Karen

The supervisory space I aim to provide is one where exploration and creativity facilitates the process to celebrate the successes, to explore the challenges, and to bring into awareness the blocks in our work with clients. It is a place where you can explore your needs for professional development.

Supervision model

The model of online supervision I use is influenced by Michael Carroll, Inskipp & Proctor’s Functions model and Hawkins & Shohet’s 7-eyed model of supervision. At the heart of how I work is the relationship, a collaborative one between supervisee and supervisor. I see supervision as a restorative, regenerative and relational process.

In my work with supervisees, I enjoy learning and discovering what we each bring to the supervisory space through four influences: difference and diversity, cultural, familial, and social norms. At the heart of how I work as a counsellor and supervisor is Gestalt Therapy, integrating aspects of other models that compliment and sit alongside my core modality.

Aimed at you

A creative supervisory space where you can bring your clients, with time to reflect upon and explore the challenges, the successes of the work with them.  It is a place where there is time and space for you, to discuss professional development, support and the opportunity to reflect on your workload.

Which platform?

I’m happy to work solely on one platform or offer a blended approach, for example, an hour’s email and a 30 minute video call.

The choices depend on your online platform preference and how you work with your clients.
